THE VIP EXPERIENCE
Without question, the best way to enjoy Food & Wine is as a VIP ticket holder. Enjoy convenient valet service, reserved seating, and exclusive access to a tasting of private cellar wines guided by Master Sommelier Randall Bertao (General Manager of Los Altos Golf and Country Club).
Says Bertao about Montalvo:
“Montalvo’s Food & Wine event brings together passionate culinary and wine lovers and a great time is guaranteed. I’m thrilled to preside at the VIP Library Wine hour again in 2019. It’s fun to see what vintages show up to be shared among passionate patrons.”

ABOUT RANDALL BERTAO, MS
In his role of General Manager, Randall Bertao brings a life-long love and education of food and wine to the members at Los Altos Golf and Country Club. With over 30 years experience in the Food and Beverage industry, Randy has been successful at managing some of Santa Clara Valley’s most esteemed restaurants in addition to his own restaurant, 34 Surrey Street, for 10 years in England. Introduced to wine at a young age by his Portuguese grandmother who made and bottled her own wine, Randy credits his passion for wine to his first taste of a 1961 Chateau Lafite. In 2005, Randy became one of a select group of North Americans to hold the Master Sommelier title, the highest distinction a professional can attain in fine wine and beverage service. |
