DAVID BENOIT PRIVATE CONCERT AND DINNER AT THE MARKKULA ESTATE
This afternoon experience at Linda and Mike Markkula’s historic Little Theater in Woodside is truly a once-in-a-lifetime musical experience. The event begins with an outdoor champagne and wine reception with hors d’oeuvres. Then slip into your seat to enjoy a private concert by three-time Grammy-nominated pianist David Benoit. (Other performers at the Little Theater have included Dave Brubeck, James Moody, Joe Williams, and many other jazz greats.) This will be followed by a sumptuous dinner on the theater patio with dessert served in the Pompeii Room of the estate’s stunning 1920’s Moorish-style concert hall, which boasts jaw-dropping murals, tile work, and an exotic fountain. Fabulous wines from the Markkula’s private label will be poured.
